IT Project Manager Senior - UnitedHealth Group - Eden Prairie, MN5 Months ContractMust pass a drug test and background check once offered position*Projects the candidate will be working on:Major Email Security project in the End User Technology space.Candidate may also assist in project management activities for legacy tools as needed and assist in other End User Technology projectsIdeal Background:Experience as an IT project manager in a larger organization would be ideal along with experience with hardware / software implementation projects to include Email security projects. Knowledge of security concepts such as DLP, Phishing and Brand ProtectionExperience:A preferred candidate will have extensive experience working in a project management role supporting technical and software implementation projects around email securityTop Requirements:Drive the implementation of new email security tools and processes in the End User Technology space: Managing Scope, Schedule and CostManage and track the rollout and migration of various End User Technology tools across the UHG user baseCreate and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.Team and Team size:1-2 managers, 1 PM, 10-15 technical resources with mix of Optum staff from multiple teams and contract resources.RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive the implementation of software upgrades in the End User Technology space: Managing Scope, Schedule and CostManage and track the rollout and migration of End User Technology tools across the UHG user baseUse data, experience and client interactions to identify pain points, best practices and detailed recommendationsCreate and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changesIdentify resistance and performance gaps, work to develop and implement corrective actionsWork with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project planCreate a technology adoption strategy to include calendar, agendas, target audience, contentDemo software and solutionsCreate and facilitate Champion ProgramsCreate a communication plan to support the Training plan and overall deployment/transitionPerform train-the-trainer, Support Desk, and end user training sessionsSKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Strong working knowledge of IT software and hardware upgrade methodologiesExperience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologiesStrong business acumen and awareness of business trendsFamiliarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycleProven track record in adaptability, teamwork, problem solving, coaching, group process facilitation, influence, strategic thinking, planning, leadership and change managementAdept at in-person as well as virtual trainingEDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 10 years of experience in roles focused in any of the following: change management, process management, systems/solution delivery, or business strategy7+ years of experience as part of projects from requirements gathering and analysis, through deployment and testing through to transition and training.Proven success supporting business change in small, mid-size and large organizationsInterview Process:How many rounds? 1-2b.
